Statistically, around 100,000 people die on Indian roads every year, 16 people die every
hour,1214 road crashes occur every day in India and bikers account for 25% of total road
crash deaths.
Around 20 children under the age of 14 die every day due to road crashes in
in the country and many are injured.
Also over four times more paramilitary personnel die in road accidents than fighting terrorists. These figures are already haunting will haunt us
even greater if we don't ACT NOW.
We cannot keep the children from enjoying their childhood , so what we must do is to make the future safer for them as "Children are the pillars in making for the nation." Over-speeding,signal breaks,under-age driving are some big concerns now.
Life cannot go on with the rules being broken and lives being lost.
This is why the most influential,energetic section of the society-the Youth must step up together to solve this growing ROAD SAFETY ISSUE in an effort to make a better India.
And to make them step up we need a well planned and executable project in the community to trigger the efforts towards making INDIAN ROADS SAFER!
